WILLIAM
The day of this shoot was a deeply emotional day and I'm happy that they still came out good considering I was not in my normal state of mind!
Worked with Luke Nugent again and the last time with Soonhi Tano for sometime as she has jetted back home to Japan. :(
Will was great and had Patrick from AMCK dropping by during the shoot.

Today I was in Dalston styling a shoot. Here are some mini polaroids I took, updates coming soon. Tried using the mini diana again but ruined a film. Again. Hope the one film I used will produce some double exposure I was experimenting with.

Future Beauty...

Celebrating 30 years of Japanese Fashion, Barbican is presenting this exhibition until 6th Feb 2011. I attended their private view Friday night with Cat. I do love the way Japanese designers are very innovative with their pattern skills but couldn't resist a few sarcastic remarks on a few of the garments on show which I honestly thought were ungodly awful!! I just see it as modern art -not fashion- which I'm not the greatest fan of anyway.
By the time we finished browsing the exhibit they've run out of goody bags AND stopped serving free drinks but we spent time on the roof garden sipping ginger beer with fine looking people.

LFW Sept 2010

London Fashion Week has been and gone yet again!
Was busy with work and of course had lots of fun, though I somehow ended up with hardly no pictures.. which makes me very very sad! I've been using a film camera, a mini lomography Diana and I managed to ruin it all. This makes me want to permanently revert back to digital but I'm adamant to learn and use film.. cos they look cool! Also I've managed to waste quite a few polaroids and this is quite costly too falling just below £1 per film so again :(

Fashion East womenswear and Henry Holland were the only ones I managed to watch. I could not believe shows were happening at the old Eurostar terminal at Waterloo! I was literally 5 minutes walk away from work the day Mary Katrantzou and Richard Nicoll showed and I could've papped some beautiful people with my film camera which probably would've been a waste cos I ended up ruining it anyway. Oh well hey-ho.

I attended a few events Eley Kishimoto's Flash-on Night, Sheer magazine launch party and also helped out at Orschel-Read show as well as various exhibitions. Got to meet some lovely people!

And here are some of my fave collections during LFW for SS11...

Burton McQueen

I finally found my Notebook of Tim Burton Illustrations for Alexander McQueen- which went missing for a while!!! This is pretty amazing as I'm a huge fan of the two, saw it on eBay couple of years ago and just had to get it.

This is the actual invitation for McQueen's A/W 2002 show which took place at La Conciergerie- where Marie-Antoinette was imprisoned before getting her head chopped off!
