Moooreee posting of fab stylist!! Here is the complete series featuring my sheer Kadyan trousers styled by Cecilia Cauville.

Jamaica's superstars!

Having come across Fashion Gone Rogue ... O-M-G why have i not come across this site before it features quite a lot of magazine editorials and its an amazing source for inspiration and a chance to see work that I would have never been able to come across otherwise- anyway sooo its amazing!! I spent lots of time just browsing, my laptop couldn't cope with the amount of windows open.

I came across this editorial 'Lets Get Lost' by Mikael Jansson for Interview mag May 2010 featuring some of Jamaica's finest models which unfortunately doesnt credit them much... so here we have Sedene Blake, Oraine Barrett, Raschelle Osbourne and much more amidst the mix. I have a soft spot for these guys as they were lovely when I showed in Jamaica- lovely people and beautiful country!! If you'd like to see more just click here.

Here is Sedene Blake strutting one of my S/S 10 outfits... just to blag that she modeled for me!

Pillinger & Hall

Remember I posted back in April about a shoot by Stuart Pillinger and styled by Laura Louise Hall with my Latisha sheer skirt.

Well I got some pics from the shoot and thought I'd share the series they did as I think they are very beautiful.

Enjoy.

Styling no.2

Monday was a great day for shooting. Did have a tiny problem with fitting one great dress on the model so couldn't use it :( and it had flashing electric neon belt!!
Still.. Luke Nugent got some amazing pics. Not putting them up yet instead I'll give you a little tease...

Model is the lovely Tora Rebecca Rose who modeled for Dazed and Confused Swatch Watch magazine competition... check her out and pls cast your vote for D&C as i've long been a devotee!

I will post more soon!! Promise.

Here is a behind the scene video clip of the day to tantalise your curiosity...

"Vivienne!!"

I failed to mention straight away on here!! The other day I bumped into the one and only Vivienne Westwood!!

I was walking along just one of the roads behind Oxford Street and recognised her heading towards me with her eccentric dress sense and overgrown dyed red hair looking down and swiftly walking- my mind suddenly went to overdrive!!
'Oh my god its vivienne westwood!'... 'What shall i say'... 'What shall i call her'... 'This is amazing'... 'Quick before its too late'!

"VIVIENNE!" I shouted (which later thought maybe would've been much cooler to have said Miss Westwood!). Poor lady seemed startled as i yelled right next to her!
She turned and I said
"Oh my I'm such a huuge fan!" and gave her a huge hug.
At this point I noticed shes actually tiny probably my height but I had high heels on at the time so she seemed tiny.
'Quick take a picture!' I thought but then she smiled and replied
"Thank you! But I'm in such a rush!" as if to have read my mind. Which was ashame but would've felt bad if I delayed her any longer!
So I said "Ok- no probs! Nice to meet you. Bye!".
She noded and smiled and carried on. I had a huge grin on my face whilst I watched her totter along! Then as I regained consciousness I noticed a man standing right next to me having a fag, having observed all this and obviously didnt have a clue who I've just encountered! With my grinning face and his silly un-fazed look, we exchanged an awkward grin and I walked along and he puffed on.

I remember Vivienne briefly looking at me up and down probably thinking who the hell is this non-sense! At least I was looking decent that day!

Also a year or so ago I actually saw her riding her bike. I saw something like this..

AMAZING!

Is it ok...

... to flirt to get your way?! I find this game hard- not just because I'm with someone else of course but just in general. And how far does someone need to go before it gets awkward. I've never been good with these things in the first place so I feel incredibly weird to even do the slightest!!
But when a girl needs something that otherwise is hard to get, you need to turn on the flirtatious charm right?- its a known fact this theory works too! Maybe i need to start taking advantage of it.

OK- I'm sounding very SJP Sex in the City right now! That reminds me I'd like to see the new movie if its any good. Currently watching her in The Family Stone- its not bad.

Sunshine Girl

Whilst spending my second day scouring the high street this weekend. Today I bumped into this lovely lady!! Isn't her outfit cute with the colour scheme!! It made me smile. I love her bag a lot!

And... I am tired- I don't like shopping on the high street, sooo many people are around, its irritating. Anyway i got as much stuff as I could afford (more like what Geoff could) in prep for the shoot tomor with Luke Nugent again! Last to pick up was this amaaazing pair of glasses by stylist/accessories designer Holly Carpenter, that necklace is hers too! Shes kindly let me borrow it for the shoot after only contacting her today.. so yay!

Ice cream...

Sadly no and its better than that... it's Karla Aspetic!! These are soo cute. I'm feeling lots of pastels over the summer.

Karla Aspetic

This gives me the same feeling as Balenciaga's a/w 10 collection does- which I still very much adore! I feel happy looking at them and I don't know why but everytime i see this collection my mouth waters!?!

Balenciaga

And on that note- heres me eating an ice lolly :) ! And some random people in the mix.

India Fashion Week

Whilst spending lots of time on the net searching and learning about Bollywood films and actors and actresses. It was only natural for me to start noticing the beauty of their garments so I looked more into it and wondered about India fashion week?!

They do have Lakme India Fashion Week. I scoured through Lakmes last shown season collections and quite a lot I've seen all before or ones that aren't particularly inspiring but I did come across some really great designers. Well I've listed some of my faves below.

First Sabyasachi Mukherjee- I've no idea how to pronounce his name properly but having gone through India's recent Summer Resort collection, this is my favourite! It has that elegant Prada feel to it whilst having the culture touch of India with the heavy use of clashing prints and plenty of embellishments. The clever styling and layering of different types of garment gives that ethnic feel too. This collection was the only one I felt that everything was considered from head to toe!
No wonder Sab Mukh is one of the famous designers from India even Naomi 'diva' Campbell has modeled for him.

Tho these are the bridal collection, they are beautiful and I want something like this to wear when I attend an Indian wedding so take a hint certain people I know! You need to hurry up, time is not making you any younger. These Rocky S creations are a modern take on Saris. I just love the pastel colours and the Swarovski crystals and appliqués!! Also this label has shown in London for On/Off in 2008 and even styled the Pussycat Dolls... for once they looked demure!

Rocky S

And some others...

Payal Singhal

Neha Agarwal

Smita & Himanshu

Swapnil Shinde

For those who like accessories here is some amazing work from Bombay milliner Shilpa Chavan who has collaborated with designers such as Manish Arora, Boudicca and Unconditional (London Fashion Week).

Plus another thing... Christopher Kane showed there too. If you were unaware like me you might be wondering 'what is he doing in India?!'

Well Mr Kane has been collaborating with TIGI’s award winning International Hair Creative Director Anthony Mascolo, to co-create the latest looks for TIGI’s fashion-inspired range, Kane showed support and helped with the outfits for Anthony's show.

You can check more out on Lakme Fashion Week official website.

So yep, this kinda took me the whole day... I was sat indoors stinking aaall day infront of the computer and at one point my internet was being so slow- I mean what was with the 5 second delays, were not living in the 90's! Urgh.

Bollywood

Went out on bank holiday Monday to watch an Indian film with my Indian friends. With Indian food and Indian men! Umm no not really. Just half of that.

First time I watched a Bollywood film till the end was years ago when Lagaan was on t.v. with Aamir Khan- amazing. Last time I saw a Bollywood film was 3 Idiots with Aamir Khan which I thought was beautiful, it was funny and lovely.
This time I saw House Full- it was ok it had its funny moments but I fell in love with it for one thing.. the gorgeous Arjun Rampal!! Why have I not seen or known about him before?!?
So that got me straight to google-ling frenzy and soon enough I was ogling at this man's anatomy! Not caring much about Geoff's head shaking and 'your so sad' glances over my way!!

Arjun Rampal

Anywaaay... enough of him. I also thought the other stars in that film were gorgeous so i got back to my google-ling and was paricularly impressed with the gorgeous ladies. First there was Jiah Khan, so pretty and at times she reminded me of the equally lovely Jam-Jam.

Jiah Khan

And there's also another gorgeous Bollywood lady..

Deepika Padukone. She has beautiful eyes!

My friends were worried I would start getting fed up of seeing Indian films everytime they suggested we go cinema- i was like 'Heeeell nooo- its the only time I get to see it'.
So I can't wait for more more Bollywood films! I should watch more. I've been practicing my lightbulb dance moves. hahaa

Clickidy-click

I'd want my life story to be told like this!

I'm so impressed with this video ad I'm completely sold. I want an Olympus Pen! I remember first seeing this a few months back with Kevin 'camera chow picture wow' Spacey advertising it and loved it! I don't quite know why I didnt get it- hold on i do I didn't have any money!! I want an Olympus Pen.

I have recently been thinking of getting a new digi cam as I've had my Samsung NV7 for a quite a long while now and its been through a lot of things.. dented and scratched but still in working order but the poor girl is old and I need a change.

Either the Pen or this...

The Leica V-Lux 20 it's within my price range.

Ohhh but how I wish I could have the Leica M7 Hermes VERY SPECIAL Limited Edition, a calfskin-clad version of its M-series 35mm film camera in Orange- just like freaking below!!!!!
I think it cost around £6000. Would anyone care to buy me it pls, I'd make a good wife!

Hmm so what to get is my dilemma!

Its soo 90's

Continuing to a second day of my spring cleaning. I came across soooo many memorabilia I've kept throughout the years!!! I just loved all of my school photos way back in mid 90's. Many are cringe-worthy but sorry only a few I can manage to share. I can't bare the thought of anyone else seeing the rest!

First here we have a photo album I put together of a school PGL trip. Inspired by 'My so called life' I created an album that must've taken me a lot of time putting together.. I love the fact that I actually got key symbols next to the guys to show how I rated them in terms of 'hot lip action', 'kit off' and 'sexual acrobatics'?! Wasn't I too young to be thinking about that? I must've taken that key symbol cut out from teen magazines such as J17 or Sugar where I spent my pocket money on.

I just wanted to put up some pictures of my school days.. aahhhh the fun and innocence of childhood- notice that I haven't attached the latter years of school days as I think they are too soon to put up and that's when the uglier years began. You need at least a century past to not care.

Wow look at her braids- I can't remember who she was- I don't think she was a teacher!?

You gotta love 90's fashion!

Grrrr nice animal print getup!! This ladies and gents is my Spice Girls hayday, proudly representing their pepsi collab- they ruled and was my life, girl power etc. Yes I know, what ever your thinking!!

AND awwww this may well have been when I was 11?!
