Helped out a friend Christina Stohn for a shoot in Brighton a few weeks ago. So glad the weather held up and it was a lovely day trip out to the sea side, it was a nice fun shoot.

London College of Fashion recently showcased BA Fashion Show graduates of 2011. I went to show support to the lovely Harold Kensington who's collection is definitely in my top 5 out of the 30 students who showcased. His collection clearly didn't disappoint including amazing shoes, bags and accessories.
There were plenty of great collections on show again at LCF this year. I'm looking forward to seeing more new talents so bring on GFW!

A wash of bright colours, patterns and textures were plentiful this year but rather disappointingly only 6 menswear collections were on show, that wasn't even a quarter of the LCF graduates!
My interest in menswear has been growing strong for the past couple of years and was somehow hoping that the popularity and interest in doing menswear would grow especially amongst new breed of designers, although generally speaking menswear has undergone a strong change and experimentation for the past decade, I was somehow hoping the trend continued even stronger and by now overtaken womenswear.
Closing the show was Brett De Jager, who is my fave from the mens collection, with his mix of stripes, tartan and the use of some kind of tie dye/milky way print effect in clashes of bold colours were a complete delight to my eyes. Wai Yee Ho's playfulness panels of polka dots were sweet and Jodie O'Donoghue's casual garments using graphic pattern that goes well with the soft colours of beige and greys made me thought it would go down well with my boyfriends current taste.

And for the rest here are some of my favourites.

Ji Yeon Kim
With the current big trend of colour blocking this Spring/Summer, I still like to occasionally dress head to toe in black so Ji Yeon Kim's collection I instantly loved. It's slick tailoring with the splash of gold for minimal accesories and clutches that are clearly inspired by shields finishes the whole look of a modern warrior-esque woman.
