I'm high!!

I'm ecstatic!! I'm elighted... what ever it is I feel like having a heart attack cos my heart feels joyous and almost can't handle it- I'm perpiring like hell because of this- most probably due to this heat!

Yaaaay I'm having such a great day so far... just heard from a long lost friend from Japan and she's visiting this August and another friend will be visiting in September -fun times ahead!!

The day is shining and hot and will be the same tommorrow for a surprise bday day out for a friend. Attending two- not 1 but 2 bday do's today then off to see my love and can't wait to cruise in his new car!

Two styling shoot coming up next month.
I am sooo looking forward in doing this big shoot with Ludo aswell as Luke!
Been so busy trying to organise it- Got some amazing young designers involved- the team is getting together! Yay yay yay :)

GFW 2010

Well I'm a little late on updating but here's my quick Graduate Fashion Week coverage! I attended only 2 Uni shows this year and those were UCA Epsom (my Uni) and Nottingham Trent although I think all in all this year wasn't as great as the past couple years- there are still some amazing work out there so I thought I'd share some of my favourites.

First UCA Epsom, I was mostly blown away by the menswear design graduates. I did take some photo's myself but most of them weren't very good as I borrowed my boyfriends more 'professional' camera thinking I'll have some great photo's but in the end it was too complicated for me to play with settings- i just wanted a point, snap and click dammit I was rather annoyed so I've grabbed pics from the world wide web instead!!

I just loved what I saw on their stand so I somehow got myself a free ticket for the show and managed to sit front row and got myself a Paul Smith perfume!!!- only knowing this amazing freeby after I left the show otherwise I would've been grabing those extra goody bags- Im a sucker for freebies!!
Just before the show I watched Tinie Tempah perform- I must say I do actually really like his songs. Anyway... I love Shinsuke Mitsuoka punk rock attitude collection below reminiscent of Gareth Pugh!! The reason why I wanted to see this Uni's show in the first place.

Nottingham Trent also had some cool knitwear designers my favourite would be Heewon Park. Samantha Brooke and Phoebe Thrilwall also created some fine intricate knitwear.

Well Friday night and the whole of Saturday was random and great!! Had a grand time around Waterloo with the GfK clan which resulted in some amazing photos, fights, sunrise, morning by the London Eye, tate modern, lunch by the river, an afternoon sermon at St Pauls Cathedral and then finally home.

The lovely Jode from work bought me a book on Fashion & Textiles - The essential careers guide which is a must for any budding fashion designer as it gives you an in-depth review on all aspects involving in the fashion industry- so its definitely worth a look!


Its a shame that I didn't have my digi cam with me at the time as i saw some cool views and great opportunities for a photo. St Pauls Cathedral was beautiful inside but religion is reaaallly not for me!
