A quick shoot with Tean Roberts for magazine Ballad Of... 'Little Book of Horrors' submission.
Having read through their brief and seeing the images they've put up I've started doing more research around Wednesday Addams, vampirish images involving kids and inspiration from more earlier take on vampires and monsters as well as inspiration from Victorian ghost photography.
Having worked for the first time with a child model it was incredibly fun, relaxed shoot that lasted only half a day! Tean using her new polaroid back for her Hassleblad, she created some double exposure photographs that has a very eerie/ghostly quality.
Really wanted to portray the child as the empowering one over the adult, giving the audience that unease feeling of what this supposedly innocent child is capable of blah blah.
Here is one of ideas I put together and what we were aiming for...
The final images looks amazing but of course I can't show any of it until some news from our submission. Fingers crossed!
